BLOODSHED was co-written, co-directed, and co-produced with screenwriter and actor Paolo Mancini with whom Daniel has been corresponding about the horror genre since they attended high school together in Aylmer, Quebec, Canada. BLOODSHED has been screened at 91 festivals internationally to date and has won several awards.
Daniel made his directorial debut in 2014 with the short film THE BLACK CASE and continues to work with multidisciplinary artist Caroline Monnet whose films can now be found on The Criterion Channel under SHORT FILMS BY CAROLINE MONNET. Their co-written feature film BOOTLEGGER won best screenplay at Cannes Cinéfondation in 2017 and was directed by Monnet in 2020.
Daniel is currently involved in several writing projects including the follow up to BLOODSHED with Mancini while working as a motion capture shoot manager at Game On in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
