Pinky Promise | August 2021 Featured Film
Written, Produced, and acted by Elizabeth Dwyer
Two co-workers of different ethnicities discover something new about each other at an office party. Written for the Flicks4Chicks competition, the film plays with the potential absurdity of the fine art world, while also allowing two uniquely queer people the opportunity to fall in love.
Elizabeth Dwyer received a partial scholarship support to attend the 2020 July Writers’ Retreat, and her pilots and feature scripts have placed as finalists in the ISA Fast Track Fellowship, WeScreenplay Diverse Voices, and the George R.R. Martin Screenwriting Grant. Elizabeth is a two-time Second Rounder at the Austin Film Festival, and her teen rom-com STARSTRUCK was one of eight semi-finalists in the Color Creative/Powderkeg Media Teen Movie Contest. She earned an MFA in TV and Screenwriting from Stephens College.
